TIMESINDONESIA, PROBOLINGGOSeruni Point glass bridge Bromo construction is only half way more to go. The construction has been started since last September 2021 and planned to be finished by September 2022. This glass bridge were said to be the longest glass bridge in the country.

The construction was done by The Ministry of Public Works through Balai Geoteknik Terowongan dan Struktur, Bintekjatan, Ditjen Bina Marga. All the workers were said to work through their limit to keep the schedule on time.

"We will try to keep the construction in line with the due date," The head of Balai Geoteknik, Terowongan dan Struktur Fahmi Aldiamar as he said on the Ministry of Public Work official website on Monday (3/7/2022).

The glass bridge was hope to be able to attract more visitors to Bromo. It's no longer a secret that the beauty of local scenery in Bromo will be its main attraction. The bridge will be build with a suspended cable all along the way to maintain its safety and stability of the structure.

For your information, the Seruni Point glass bridge will be 120 meter long and 1,8 meter wide. It will lies 8o meter high above the ground. The glass thickness will be around 25,55 mm and will be supported with suspended cable for safety.
