TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Yaqut Kholil Qoumas, Menag RI or the Minister of Religious Affair Indonesia said that this hajj season the pilgrims were spoiled with more appropriate facilities. They have added a nice huge tent for the pilgrims who were on their wukuf routine.
The facilities were such an nice one. The tent was equipped with hundreds of nice beddings for the pilgrims to rest. It also equipped with some AC located in several corner of the tent to keep the pilgrims cool during the hot day of wukuf.
"I hope the pilgrims feel comfortable. I understand how short the time we have to prepare all these. Just in two months. But, overall everything is good," Menag RI or the Minister of Religious Affair Indonesia Yaqut Cholil Qoumas said Tuesday (5/7/2022) in Arafah.
The Manag Ri also stated that the facilities has been upgraded years by years. He also told his story when he came to Mecca for hajj with regular package. "That time, it was just like a mess, we were lying on the floor like an abandoned salted fish," he said.
He also said that more AC will be added to the facilities to keep the area cooler time by time. In addition, Menag RI or the Minister of Religious Affair Indonesia Yaqut Cholil Qoumas also said that this hajj season of 2022 will be a reflection for the next seasonal hajj to come.(*)
