These 3 Groups of Pilgrim Get Previlege with Badal Hajj for Free from Kemenag RI
TIMESINDONESIA, MADINAH – Badal Hajj is hajj which performed as of an obligatory Hajj (Pilrimage to Makkah) by a proxy on behalf of those who is unable to perform Hajj due to certain issues. The issues were stated clearly, and can't be negotiated. And Kemenag RI has released 3 groups which meet the requirements.
Kemenag RI or the Ministry of Religious Affair through their spokes person Akhmad Fauzin stated 3 groups that were allowed to get Badal Hajj. They even offered a free service to do badal hajj for those 3 required groups.
The first group will be those who died at the hajj Boarding House or those who died on the way to Mecca. Those who died while they were in Mecca but haven't been fulfilled the wukuf routine in Arafah were also included in this group.
"The second one will be those pilgrims who happened to have some health issue and couldn't attend the wukuf. And the last group will be those pilgrims who mentally unstable," Fauzin said in Jakarta on Friday (24/6/2022).
Still according to him, the ministry will make a list on who will be eligible for this service. They will finish the list before 9 Zulhijjah (lunar calendar). "The service will be all for free," Fauzin added.
In addition, Kemenag RI will also issue a certificate for those person who were listed for Badal either they were dead or alive. This certificate will mark that they have done hajj as one obligation they need to do as a muslim trough a proxy. (*)
