Menag RI Put a Big Expectation for Pope Francis willing to Visit Indonesia

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – On his visit to Vatican few days ago exactly on 8-11 June 2022, Menag RI or the Minister of Religious Affair Indonesia Yaqut Cholil Qoumas happened to visit several place including meeting Pope Francis. He landed on back on the country by Saturday (11/6/2022).

While visiting the pope, Yaqut delivered the invitation for the pope from President of Indonesia Joko Widodo. The President willing to invite the pope to come and visit the country to see the beautiful harmony the country has.

"It's a pleasure to meet Pope Francis. It's not the first time I met him. We just need to wait the answer from Vatican. I have delivered the president message to invite him (the pope) to Indonesia, and I just reminded him about it the other day," Yaqut said.

The pope visit will meant a lot to the country for Pope Francis was known to be one top Christian leader in the world. By his visit it was expected that he will witness the beautiful harmony between the Christian and another believer in the country.

"I'd like to take everyone to say that religion is humanity. So, the point of believing into one religion is to keep the humanity values not to be debated or disputed," Menag RI or the Minister of Religious Affair of Indonesia Yaqut Cholil Qoumas ended. (*)
