TIMESINDONESIA, PROBOLINGGO – The beauty of sunrise has become one must to see attraction while visiting Bromo. And there's plenty places that offered this captivating view in Bromo. One of them is through Kingkong Hill.

Kingkong Hill is one popular place to get a beautiful sunrise view in Bromo besides Penanjakan, Seruni Point, and Love Hill. It's located right under the penajakan. However, this place has lots of advantages compared to the other two.

Kingkong Hill has a wider spot to capture your best moment of sunrise. You could choose whether you will take it from the right wing or the left wing. As on the left wing you will be given the best view of sunset. Meanwhile on the right wing your eyes will be mesmerized with the beauty of Bromo ambience in the morning.

Unlike any other spot which could only accommodate dozens of visitors, Kingkong Hill could take hundreds of domestic and foreign tourist at a time. You also don’t need to climb up and try so hard to reach your destination.

"This is the best spot so far, the other spot offers a small area where you need to struggle to get the best spot to take the best moment of sunrise," Mariya, a regular at Bromo from Pasuruan who happened to visit this mountain every year. 

However, to be able to stay cool on this place while waiting for the sunrise to come you will need some winter jacket. Kingkong Hill of Bromo will be quite cold in the morning. The temperature could reach 7° Celsius and even -2° Celsius in certain month like late July and August.
