TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Menag RI or The Minister of Religious Affair of Indonesia Yaqut Cholil Qoumas demands the government to flow more funds for Hajj this season. He addressed the demand to the Commission VIII of House Representatives on Monday (30/5/2022).
In total, the minister addresses the board for around IDR 15 Billion. "It is IDR 1.518.056.480.730,89 for exact amount. It was going to be used for the hajj finance benefit for those regular and special trip," Yaqut said during a meeting the member of the board.
In his calculation, there was a huge missed amount of the fund which had been approved by the member of the board with what he the minister of religious affair has received by now.
The fund will cover some service and needs of the pilgrims during their pray at Arafah Musdalifah, Mina or the Masyair service. Some flight fee in Juanda Surabaya were also included on this demands.
Few days earlier, Menag RI or the Minister of Religious Affair Yaqut Cholil Qoumas have announced that Indonesia will have 5 boarding place scattered in 5 different cities in the country. Those are some embarkation in Solo, Jakarta-Pondok Gede, Jakarta-Bekasi, Surabaya, and Padang.
Still according to Menag RI or the Minister of Religious Affair Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, the Hajj season will be begun by June 4, 2022. This will remarks the raise of Hajj season after the pandemic. (*)
