Kripik Tempe Centre of Sanan, Best Place to Get some Gift in Malang  

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Malang has been well known with its  tourist destinations. As it has tons of tourist destination this city also has some worth to visit souvenir shop to complete the visitors journey to this cold climate city. One of them is Kripik Tempe Centre of Sanan.

Kripik Tempe in local language literally means tempeh chips. As its name, this place offers any variety taste of tempeh chips. And this place has been well known for everyone who happened to visit Malang.

Located at Jalan Sanan Gang III No.129. Purwantoro, Blimbing, Malang, East Java, the local community started to produce the in mass production since 1970's. At first, there was only one person dealing with the business, but then after the local community  saw the potential they started to follow the path until now.

This place then known to be tempeh chips village. Each house in this area seems become a workshop for their very own products. Each house work together with their family producing the chips fro day to day. Especially during some special moment like Eid or Christmas, they will add their production to fill the order.

Beside the tempeh chip, the local community in Kripik Tempe Centre of Sanan also produce some fruits and vegetables  chip. You could find spinach, aplle, jackfruit, snake fruit, dragon fruit chip and many more.(*)
