Ranggawulung Cave and Curug Nini, Two Exotic Destinations at Tasikmalaya

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Tasikmaalaya doesn't wanted to be left behind in introducing new destinations to the travellers. This time they brought up Ranggawulung Cave and Curug Nini or Nini Waterfall which offers the visitors such a draw dropping view.

Located at Setiawaras, Cibalong, Tasikmalaya, West Java, this place hasn't been opened for public by now. The local government still doing an on-going progress for the renovation. These places were meant to be the iconic destination in the area.

Curug Nini or Nini Waterfall is a beautiful Waterfall with panoramic view. It's 40 meters high with several level.  There was a stair to go to upper level of the waterfall. at down part of the level where the river flows we re surrounded by vast stretched rice field.

"We think of making an integrated tourism between the rice filed as an education tourism and the beauty of the waterfall. The visitors could join the farmer and learn on how to do a good rice farming from plating to harvesting," the Chief of  Setiawaras village, Asep Kusnawan said on Saturday 918/12/2021).

Meanwhile, Ranggawulung cave offers an exotic natural scenery of stalactites and stalagmites. For all this time, the village administrator has tried their best to keep the cave untouched. They even  didn’t allow anyone to smoke around or touch the cave for they afraid it will affect the cave structure.

Both Ranggawulung Cave and Curug Nini or Nini Waterfall of Tasikmalaya were estimated to be opened for public by May 2022. their grand opening were expected to be able to help the local community and open some more jobs for them. (*)
