Cipanas Galunggung Tourist Destination Ready to be Opened During Christmas

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – The local government of Tasikmalaya haven't been giving their decision whether will they allow some tourist destination in the area to be Opened on Christmas and New Year. This news has been awaited by all tourist destination in the city including Cipanas Galunggung.

For the last few months, Cipanas Galunggung has installed few equipments to fit the pandemic. "We've been equipped CHSE label from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy," Dudung Suhaeri, the Manager of cipanas Galunggung said on Sunday (12/12/2021).

For this long, almost half of the visitors were coming from East Java. And with Mount Semeru eruption, the surge of visitors has been declined 40% since then. "Not to mention those negative issue towards this place," he added.

There has been a rumor that Cipanas Galunggung has been used as a place for doing some ritual by the locals. And this has given some negative reviews to this area. They even have to call the authorities to stop the issue and deal with it.

Cipanas Galunggung of Tasikmalaya has several attraction in the area. But mainly this place offers a nice pool. This is a perfect place to go with your family and friends. As for now, this place have been equipped with public facilities such as spacious parking lot, restrooms, and cafeteria. (*)
