Batu Street Food Where You Could Find Hundreds of Local Delight

TIMESINDONESIA, BATU – After being absence for once, Batu Street Food & Culinary Festival strikes back this year. This festival hope to be able to wake the tourism and culinary industry in this city. there will be hundreds of local delicacy brought up to pamper the visitors' belly.

Batu Street Food & Culinary Festival was planned to be hold for two days starting today 7-8 December 2021 at Balai Kota Among Tani. The theme will be the authentic old taste of local delicacy. Some guest star from Master Chef Indonesia season 8, Chef Olivia Tommy will join the festival.

"This our 4th event after being absence  last year after the third event in 2019. praise the lord we could hold this event one more time," The head of Disparta Batu, Drs Arief As Siddiq MH said.

This time the government took the local hotel and restaurant to join the even.  There will be around 30 vendors from local hotel and restaurant joining the festival. Each of them will present their best delicacy to be taken by the visitors.

The food will range from IDR 5-25 K/pax. This is quite affordable for you will get the authentic taste of local delicacy which presented by some experts cook and chefs of local restaurant and kitchen. "It's worth the visit. We hope that this event could elevate the tourism industry in the city," Arief added.

During the Batu Street Food & Culinary Festival, the government will hold vlog competitiion with millions rupiah as the prize. They will also be live cooking competition, live DJ performance, juggling and mixology performance, acoustic/band, zumba dance, and live fruit carving. Don't miss it!!!. (*)
