Travellers, Grab Your Key for Klayar Beach of Pacitan has been Reopened for Public

TIMESINDONESIA, PACITAN – Klayar Beach of Pacitan, East Java has been closed temporarily due to the spike of Covid-19 in the city. As, the spike goes down, the local government has allowed this beautiful beach with mesmerizing view to be reopened for public with certain requirements on Friday (19/11/2021).

On the first day of opening, there were no much people spotted visiting the beach. It was looking so quiet. Only 10 to 15 people caught walking on the nice smooth white sand. Some vendors were also seems busy preparing their shops. Clean them and install several facilities to fit the new protocol standard.

"We've been working on the preparation since this afternoon. All the things needed to fit the new safety guidelines has also been prepared," Ihsan Makin, one of vendor owners at Klayar Beach said on Friday (19/11/2021).

They all preparing themselves to welcome the visitors on the weekend. It was estimated that there will be a surge of visitor on the first weekend of the reopening. However, the management will limit the number visitors to only 25% of their normal capacity due to the pandemic.

Meanwhile, on normal day before the pandemic struck the country, Saturday and Sunday was the busiest day ever for Klayar. "They normally will flock on Saturday and Sunday, meanwhile on weekdays this place will be a little bit slow," Ihsan added.

Klayar Becah of Pacitan is well known with its stunning white sand and picturesque spots of canal like that divide between the ocean and the beach. The crystal clear water and the nice wave seems always calling you to paly on the beach and swim a little. The rocky reef made it looks some secluded place away from another civilization.

For those who wiling to visit Klayar Beach Pacitan, make sure you have been vaccinated and willing to follow all the safety guidelines they have. For those who bring your kids under the age of 12, make sure you keep your eyes on them and don’t let them lost from your sight.
