Tepas Konci, a Perfect Camping Ground at Pataruman

TIMESINDONESIA, BANJAR –  For those who love to spend their night outdoor and enjoying the beauty of night sky, Tepas Konci could be the best alternative for you to go. Located at Pataruman, Banjar, West Java, this place offers a stunning view of  lush green trees down under .

Tepas Konci is situated on a 5000 hectares area. This place could accommodate around 18 huge tents at a time. "We have restroom, parking lot and some cafeteria to supply your need," Deni Novirandi, the manager of Tepas Konci said on Wednesday (10/11/2021).

Beside those facilities, Tepas Konci was also equipped with a stage that you could use for your occasion or may be some music performance. You could enjoy the music while ordering some food and sit at the shades or under the parasols they provided.

The place was formerly just an abandoned area. The management then clean it up and wanted to make it as an orchard and conservatory. But at the end of the day, the place catch some more attention from the public. More and more people coming to this place to adore its beauty. 

"Up until now, we still working on the renovation.  But the local community enthusiasm keep raising since then. they make this place as one of their favorite destination," Deni added.

If you don’t have your own tent, you could rent it from the management. It will cost you for IDR 150 K/set for maximum of 4 people. By taking their tent you will also get a set of Nasi Liwet, a local dish made of steamed rice along with some ingredients that make the rice more aromatic.

The management of Tepas Konci also planned to build some outbound facilities in the future. As for now, they were just finished planting some Durian, rambutan, longan, coconut, and cardamom tree. In the future, they will also make some bee farm to support the attraction.

They also planned to make some handicraft using recycled things such as coconut shell that they can get nearby. They planed to build some souvenir shop to accommodate the crafts.  They think of letting the visitor to see the process of the handicraft production to attract more customers.

You could also have some gathering or do your party at Tepas Konci. The management has the facilies to accommodate you for your party. "We will prepare the venue as the customers' wish, Deni ended. (*)
