Banyuwangi will Stay Opening Their Tourist Destinations for the End of the Year

TIMESINDONESIA, BANYUWANGI – The local government of Banyuwangi planed to keep opening some of their destinations by the end of this year. This will allow the local community, the visitors or tourists to spend their precious time on Christmas or New Year eve holiday.

This decision was taken for the city has had lower spike of Covid-19. Even during this time, they have opened more of their iconic destinations for all the visitors. They have already set a strict rule for all the tourist destination to apply the newest safety protocol to fit this pandemic.

"We will think of keep opening the tourist destination for Christmas and New Year eve  only if we have a low spike of Covid-19 like we have now," the Regional  Secretary Mudjiono said on Monday (8/11/2021).

He also emphasizing on putting a strict rule towards the destination regarding to the safety protocol. The number of the visitor will be limited just like they have now. The  new installation of several new facilities that fit the pandemic, and the use of mask will be mandated.

During this pandemic, the local government of Banyuwangi will monitor all those tourist destinations closely. They will give some punishment for those destination that doesn't follow he rule. The worse, they even could suspend their place to be operated.
