TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTAMood Swing is a common term to describe an intensive fluctuate of emotion. Your emotion could go up and down in a second when you happen to face this issue. Yes it's an issue, for mood swing will make you unable to find out what state are you in. And it's sometimes stressful.

Everyone will encounter this issue from time to time. When you have this moment then a small thing could trigger you, either from happy to sad in a matter of second or the other way around. And according to Very Well Mind here are the common cause.

1. Hormones

The change of hormones in women due their monthly cycle will commonly cause such massive change in attitude or behavior which you could say as a severe stage of mood swing.  It's a common thing to be found in women due to their menstrual cycles. It also happens to those who pregnant or those who nearly at their menopause stage.

2. Diabetes

Having diabetes is an unpleasant thing to have. It could lead to stress as we might have to deal with strict diet and not be able to eat the way we usually eat. Some people with a high or lower level of glucose in their body could have this issue too. When your at this stage you might face some stress, depression, and anxiety.

3. Mental Illness

Mental illness like depression and bipolar disorder could also trigger mood swing. A person’s mood may fluctuate from irritability to extreme sadness to an angry outburst. How long it takes for the episodes to change a person’s mood to the other end of the spectrum can vary from person to person.

4. Sleep deprived

Lack of sleep or sleep deprived could cause negative moods (anger, frustration, irritability, sadness) and decreases in positive moods which relate to your happiness. It could lead to depression and anxiety.

5. Lack of exercise

Exercise is ecstatic in a good way. It could form a good feeling and prevent you from having some depression or anxiety.  You could start by taking a walk around your neighborhood or may be jogging in the afternoon and enjoy the beautiful sunset. This will help your Mood Swing buried deep and control your emotion. (*)
