Glass Bridge, Another Experience You will Find in Bromo

TIMESINDONESIA, PROBOLINGGO – Bromo has always enchanting us with its natural beauty. The mountainous view and the beauty of sunrise in the morning has become one awaited moment to look out. But now, this mountain will offer another experience of enjoying the nature through it glass bridge.

The glass bridge idea has been floored out a year ago. And now, the local government through the Ministry of Public Work and Public Housing has started to work on the building. This glass bridge is situated at Ngadisari, Probolinggo, East Java.

The glas bridge will use suspended-cable system. It will be 120 meters long, 1,8 meters times 3 meters wide. It will be pulled on a 80 meter deep ravine. That surely will chalenge your nerves, as well give you an utmost natural beauty all over your eyes gees.

"It will take around 11 months in the making, and it spend two years of city fund, from 2021 and 2022," Joko Purnomo, a staff at Balai Geoteknik Terowongan dan Struktur Direktorat Jenderal Bina Marga Kementerian PUPR said.

The bridge will use 2 layers of glass. The first with 3 mm glass, and the second layer will be 35,9 mm. The bridge approximately could hold around 3,98 ton of weight.

In the future, the glass bridge were expected to be able to bring more visitors to Bromo to enjoy all those panoramic sceneries. This bride were estimated to be finished by the middle of 2022. Can't wait to see it finish eh?
