Check this Contemporary Dance Created by Sanggar Mardi Budoyo Probolinggo

TIMESINDONESIA, PROBOLINGGO – Sanggar Mardi Budoyo, a dance studio located at Jalan Juanda, Tisnonegaran, Kademangan, Probolinggo, East Java has managed to captivate the tourist with the contemporary dance they have created. This dance was commonly used to welcome those foreign tourist who visit the city.

"They really appreciate the local culture. With this dance we want to tell the world that the we are exist. And we would love to introduce the dance to them," David Iswantoro, one of the students of Sanggar Seni Mardi Budoyo said.

This tradition has been started since 2014. They were appointed by the local government to welcome the foreign tourist especially those who came with cruise.

The tourist will be entertained along their walk from  Tanjung Tembaga Harbor to Kota Museum of Probolinggo. They even could try to dance with them and learn some of their move.

"The cruises indicated lots of things. That this city is a safe place to go and it has so much attraction that worth the visit. We have welcome hundreds of cruises dock on the harbor and send the foreigners to the local destination," David added.

With the contemporarybdance they created, David of Sanggar Mardi Bufoyo of Probolinggo expecting that there will be more foreign tourists coming to the city, either with cruises or another accommodations.

Sanggar Mardi Budoyo has committed to bring more contemporary dances to attract the tourists. In the future the studio  will keep trying to create more contemporary dance to attract more tourists to come to Probolinggo. (*)
