Reel Your Rod at Mancing Mania Fishing Tournament of North Maluku

TIMESINDONESIA, TERNATE – Khairun University or well known as Unkhair will hold a fishing tournament in order to celebrate their 57th anniversary. This tournament will be held on 4-5 June 2021 at Kayoa, South Halmahera, North Maluku.

This tournament is an open tournament, which means everyone could join it. The spots of the fishing will take place in two districts, North Kayoa and Kayoa. You could choose your own spot which you think beneficial for you.

You could choose either some spot at Gunange island, Laigoma Island, Siko island, Gafi island, or Miskin island. Pasi Karanjang, Silai, Gudang and Naneri Ake Jailolo Batu Atas will also be a perfect spot to catch the biggest monster to win the tournament.

"We have almost fully prepared for this tournament. It's been 90 percent," Nonce Hasan, the 3rd Dean Deputy at Economy and Business Faculty of Unkhair said on Tuesday (18/5/2021).

The technical meeting will be held by May 30, 2021 at the 2nd campus of Unkhair at Gambesi. "All the requirements and the guidelines will be explained during this time," Nonce added.

This tournament will race for IDR 57 M prize in total. Nonce said that they expects for more than 500 people e joining the competitions. The participants are asked to work in group of 3 to 5 people.
