These are Some Nice Parks in Malang to Spend Your Spare Time

TIMESINDONESIA, MALANG – People sometimes would love to spend their spare time after a long day at work with sitting on a local patk and read some of the latest news about what happens today. And Malang has beautiful parks to fill their needs. 

Not only those who had just finished their work, during this Ramadan lots of local community will go to this place during the evening to spare some time. It's just like they are doing their picnic while waiting for the iftar time. So, which parks are they? Let's check them out.

Taman Merbabu / Merbabu Park

Located Jalan Oro Oro Dowo, Malang this park will be a hike place to take your kids with. This place has sand arena where you could take your kids to build some sand castle. A futsal court were also put in this place. Besides being a perfect lace for pleasure, this place is also known to be a reservoir area.

Alun-alun Malang

Alun-alun Malang or Malang Central Park is located at Jalan Merdeka Selatan. The locals usually come to this place and have a little rest after visiting the local malls located around the park. The government equipped the park with nice playground and some of exercise facilities. 

Hutan Kota Malabar

Hutan Kota Malabar or Malabar Forest is nestled right in the centre of the city. It's located at Jalan Malabar, Oro-oro Dowo, Malang. This forest has dozens kind of trees and plants. The locals used to use this place for educational purposes.

Taman Slamet/Slamet Park

Located at Jalan Taman Slamet, Klojen, Malang, Taman Slamet or Slamet Park is another modern day Park with a nice modern look. The local government added some jnteristing spots for selfie, some playground and exercise equipments.
