UIN Malang Becomes the Top 4 Most Favorite University of the Year

TIMESINDONESIA, MALANG – UIN Malang sits on the fourth position of most favorite university through national SPAN - PTKIN 2021. This rank was determined from the number of those students interested to apply to this university.

The Head of Academic Division of UIN Malang, Imama Ahmad  said that he received the news by Monday (29/3/2021). "It shows that the community has put a so much trust in us,"  Imam said.

Imam explained that most of the applicants are pointing on the Syaria Banking Major. It has around 4.203 applicants. Whereas the university will only take 72 of them.

The second best favorite major pointed by the applicants are the Islamic Theology Education major. It has around 3.956 applicants and the same with Syaria Banking Major, the university will only take 72 out of it.

Followed with Syaria Economic Law major with  3.686 and Islamic Education Management  with 2.660 applicants. Each will only take 90 and 72 out of them.

In total, UIN Malang has around 27.100 applicants with only 810 of them taken to be the students of the university.

Imam was so glad and grateful to see this enthusiasm. He hope that this will happen all the time for the good sake of the university. As well to spread the vision and mission of the university itself.

"We hope that those who were taken as the student of UIN Malang could use this chance as good as possible. And that they could make their dream come true," Imam Ahmad said. (*)
