Sego Hits Mangewu, a Humble Food with Super Affordable Price
TIMESINDONESIA, PACITAN – Sego Hits Mangewu, a local food shop at Pacitan gives a distinctive experience of dining. Sego Hits Mangewu which literally means 5 thousand Rupiah rice served a nice but super affordable price of foods.
Sego Hits Mangewu served a set of food which wrapped with paper wrap. Located at Taman Bugar Jalan Ahmad Yani , right in front of Pacitan Library his place has become one popular place for breakfast by the local community.
This humble place served a humble food with extraordinary taste. Sadly, it only opens for breakfast, at 5.30-10.00 in the morning. But sometimes, with the locals enthusiasms, they have to close the food shop earlier.
"We also have some bubur sumsum (stew), which consists of rice stew, mung bean stew, red sticky rice stew, and some tapioca pearl, all wmfor IDR 5 K/set," Fitri Hanum, the food shop owner.
Fitri said that she started the business 7 years ago. She met some obstacles during her business. But now with all the experience during those hard time she could give her customers the best taste of local delicacy.
"A pack of pur dishes of Sego Hits Mangewu usually contains steamed rice with stir fry vegetables, anchovy sambal, and some egg. It mostly taste sweet, spicy and savory, just like the way the local community serve their food," Fitri of Pacitan ended. (*)
