UIN Malang Opens the Database Journal Access for All Their Students

TIMESINDONESIA, MALANG – UIN Malang library opens an accessible to all their students to access the library journals. It will help them in doing the assignment gave by their lecturers as well to enlarge their knowledge.

"So, UIN Malang now joining a local listing for Emerald and Springer Journal. The students used to have a free access on campus, but now most of them are studying remotely," The Chief of UIN Malang library Mufid, M.Hum said.

Mufid said that there were only one percent student that visit the campus during this pandemic. And the students that doesn't join the local listing will not have an access to the journal when they are out there.

To answer this issue, the library initiates to give an access to the students to the Emerald and Springer journal. They will need to apply to for an account to access the journal.

After the library receive the application they will make them a personal account an send it back to them. "It's applied for all the students from any class," he added.

After getting the account, the students could access the journal without password needed. They could tap the free access button to access either Emeral or Springer journal.

The screen will flip and welcome you. On the upper left corner tou could download all the journal listed by UIN Malang.

For the Springer Journal, you could apply the form at bit.ly/akunspringer. Then you will receive a confirmation and invitation email from UIN Malang and Springer Nature.

You could follow the link and apply for the new account just like when you made a new account. "Emeral for social matters whereas Springer tend to science and medical journal," The Chief Library of ​​​​​​​UIN Malang said. (*)
