TIMESINDONESIA, YOGYAKARTA – Angkringan has become a local wisdom in Yogyakarta. It's a local street vendor which offer lots of local delicacies. And this is what Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta trying to offer.

The simplicity of Angkringan has made this street vendor becomes popular in the community. But the street vendors has made the tourist underrate the dish for its hygiene is still being questioned.

But now, Hyatt Regency elevates the Angkringan to their hotel. Though it served in a hotel this dish still has the same taste like they have in those vendors. The price is also quite approachable.

"Most off them afraid of going to the street vendors for they were not sure about the hygiene especially the cooking oil which is used to cook the food. And we gave them a solution for it," General Manager Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta, Nurcahyadhi said.

The hotel trying to elevate and change those tourist mindset about the hygiene standard. That not all street vendors did such nasty thing to gain some profit, and there are lots if clean street vendor that serve good Angkringan food.

The Angkringan at Hyaat Regency was served next to the golf course. So, anyone who were feeling hungry after golf could enjoy the tasty delicacies. The one wide golf course view will be a bonus during your meal time.

The Angkringan has become a new iconic feature of the hotel since January 2021. Lots of guests either the domestic or those coming from foreign country choose to have the Angkringan food.

This Angkringan of Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta has become one new popular corner at the Hotel. People keep coming back and forth to the Angkringan to take the food for more. (*)
