This Place of Depok Ciamis Tells the Story of Kian Santang
TIMESINDONESIA, CIAMIS – King Kian Santang is the son of King Siliwangi of Padjajaran. He was known to be a genius kid with some power. You could see his trace in this site of Ciamis. Now this place has been considered as sacred by the local community.
Prabu Siliwangi, a King of Padjajaran has two consorts. One of the consorts gave birth to three children, one of them Kian Santang. He was such an adorable child.
Since he was a child, he was blessed with several good features. Such as smart reading Qur’an, seeing prophecy, being able to read other people's thoughts, being helpful and mingling with commoners rather than playing in the palace.

Located at Depok, Cihaurbeuti, Ciamis, West Java this place has become one tourist attraction around the area. Lots of people coming to this place to enjoy the historical value or just spend their spare time.
"There are several tombs laid in this place. But it's not the Kian Santong's tomb. He was just happened to pass by and spend some his time here," Dodi suproadi, the caretaker of the site said.
Hear said, while he was staying at this place, Kian Santang met a elder which direct him to go to the West. He was also suggested to change his name into Gagak Lumayung.

This site was not only a place where Kian Santang stop by. It was also used as a place to gather by the local warrior back then. Lots of warrior will train themself in this place and make this place their favorite.
It will be such a great thing if the local government willing to put more attention to this historical site of Ciamis which related to Kian Santang story. "This site has become one iconic place for our village," Dodi ended. (*)
