Senggigi Jazz Listed on Calendar of Event of West Lombok

TIMESINDONESIA, LOMBOK – The local government of West Lombok and the local Deparyment of Tourism are ready to start to hold their Calendar of Event. Senggigi Jazz was included on their list.

They at least has 16 events put on the list including Senggigi Jazz. The number of the event were confirmed at the same time of West Lombok calendar of event launched on Wednesday (24/2/2021).

All the event listed has their own character and distinctive. "It could be in form of art, cultural, and sport," Saepul Akhkam, the Head of West Lombok Department of Tourism said.

Those events are:

1. Living in Harmoni (24 - 25 February).

2. Harmoni Lombok Barat (West Lombok Harmony)(24 March, 3 April and 10 April)

3. Fashion Show Tradisional Woven Clothes (the third week of April)

4. Lebaran Topat 1442 H (19-20 Mei)

5. Sunset Color Run (the 3red week of June)

6. Lombok Internasional Dance Festival (the 4th week of June)

7. Senggigi Jazz (31 July)

8. Ironman Triathlon (the 4th week of July)

9. Pesona Lombok Barat (7 - 29 August)

10. Festival Pesona Senggigi (September)

11. Festival Air (Water Festival) (15, 16, 17, 23 and 24 October)

12. Senggigi Marathon (17 October)

13. Lombok Barat Adventure (30 - 31 October)

14. Peresean (6 November)

15. Perang Topat (17, 18 dan 19 November)

16. Latte Art Competition (the 4art week of November)

All those events will be held separately. Tge local goverment planned to make use and take an advantage on the beauty of West Lombok to hold the events in different areas.

These events will help the local tourism rise and stand back from the crisis. As we all know, Wesr Lomb9k is well known with its beauty especially the beaches.

However, pandemic has made local tourism industry suffered and having some backlash. But all these events of West Lombok calendar of event including Senggigi Jazz were hope to bring back the surge of visitors to the area.(*)
