TIMESINDONESIA, MALANG – The Disporapar Malang commits to hold some annual event even during this pandemic. They had added around 50 events to the Calendar Event of the Year 2021.
"For now there are 40 events which will be held at themed village. And the rest are coming from Cultural Department such as Malang Flower Carnival," The Head of Disporapar Malang, Ida Ayu Made Wahyuni said.
The Disporapar keeps listing all the event which will be held by the local community. It was one of their way to bring back tourism industry in the city stand on their feet.
The event was planned to be started on April after the social restrictions in the city over. She urges the management that in charge of the event to follow the new protocol. They should follow the terms and conditions the Disporapar has to fit the pandemic.
Regarding to the crowd, they appeal the management to following the conditions. They are only allowed to have 50% visitors capacity from the regular number they had before.
The event were meant to increase the surge of visitors to the city. During the pandemic, Malang has also dealt with crisis in tourism industry.
"Never keep stop to promote our city even on this time (of pandemic), and follow the rule we have," Ida Ayu explained about the Calendar Event of Malang. (*)
