TIMESINDONESIA, MALANG – UIN Malang or also well known as UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang has opened a chance to everyone to join their university. This year they provided 5 ways to give more chance to the people.
Those five ways are through SNMPTN, SBMPTN, SPAN PTKIN, UM PTKIN, and through selection. Beside all those 5, they also give a chance for the students to join their university through scholarship.
"The SNMPTN has been opened since 15 February. It will be closed on February 24, 2021. And the test will be held by 1-15 March 2021. The result will be announced by March 22 2021," Imam Ahmad, MAg , the Head of Academic Department of UIN Malang said.
The SNMPTN will provide 750 seats for the new students. The second wave of SNMPTN which will held on March 15 to April 1 2021 will save them around 1.255 seats. Not to mention SPAN PTKIN with 810 seats and UM PTKIN with 1.350 seats.
Meanwhile, the private selection will give around 1334 seats. That makes the total new students welcomed to the university will be around 5.200 students.
However, as the previous year, Imam estimated there will be around 70 left to really fulfill the registration this year. "We assumed that there wi be around 3.810 students come back for real," Imam added.
Still according to him, UJN malang has shown a spectacular record of enthusiasts for the last few year. Let's say there were around 97.000 people trying to join this university last year.
"We are very sorry that we couldn't afford to take them all for the limited number of dormitory seats we have," this Head of Academic Department of UIN Malang ended. (*)
