TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTAGuava is a tropical fruit you could easily found in Indonesia. Some people will call guava as super fruit. It's because of the unique flavor, fragrance, and the numerous health benefits it offers. Not only the fruit, but also the leaves bring it's own health properties

This magical fruit is rich within nutrients such as vitamin C, A, lycopene, and antioxidants. The pleasant flavor has made this fruit become a favorite for almost everyone in the country. So what are they health benefits it has? Check them out.

For you who struggle to lose your weight, you could try to have this fruit as a salad for lunch.  You could eat one medium-sized guava during lunch, to prevent you from craving for junk food in till dinner time comes.

5. Prevent constipation

If you chew or ingest guava seeds, it serves as excellent laxatives. It helps for healthy bowel movements and also helps with retaining water in the body. It helps to cleanse the intestines as well as the whole excretory system.

6. Diarrhea and dysentery
