Jaha Buana, the Newest and Unique River Tour in Ciamis

TIMESINDONESIA, CIAMIS – There are numerous rivers in Ciamis with their unique characteristics. One of the newly found rivers suitable for river tour is now called Jaha Buana. This river has a unique delta.

"This river is quite unique, thanks to the delta in the middle of the river current. This delta split the river into 2 branches," said Deni, the manager of Jaha Buana Tour to TIMES Indonesia, Sunday (31/1/2021).

This delta also formed both branches of the Cipali river into a U-shape. There are also several benches and a live music stage on the delta, suitable for relaxing surrounded by river.

"Many visitors also like to have a picnic and feast together on a mat in this delta. The surrounding view is also suitable for selfies," he said.

Many visitors like to swim around or taking selfies on the river’s rocks. This place is currently open for public without any entry fee.

"This place is currently under the arrangement stage; thus it is free for all to enter. There are some spots like gardens and shades under construction. We will also make outdoor activities such as the flying fox or rafting in this area," he said.

Jaha Buana is located in Dusun Sigung 2, Nasol Village, Cikoneng, Ciamis. It is about 25- 30 minutes from the main road of Cikoneng, Ciamis. (*)
