TIMESINDONESIA, SOFIFI – Doe Masure, a local beach at Balbar, North Oba, Tidore, North Malauku has turned into a nice place to go during a holiday. This beach has been cleaned from all the waste scattered around the area. And it looks amazing.
The beach cleaning was conducted by the local administrators along with community. "This beach was used for waste bin by the local communities. But I spot its potential to become an attractive tourist destination," the Chief of Balabar Village, Amir Abdullah said.
Back then, after the beach was cleaned, Amir along with the village consultant draw a sketch of the new face of the beach. At the same time, several students were conducting their social work at the village and help them finished the sketch.
Long story short, after a long process, they hot a support from the local government. The local government of Todore even gave them some parasol and build them some public facilities such rest rooms and cafeteria building.
Now, Doe Masure beach no longer become a dead place with pile of trash around the area. This place has attracted thousands of local community of North Malauku to visit and enjoy the beauty of the local scenery especially when the sunset comes. (*)
