Kebun Bibit Cilangkap, Local Nursery Transplant for Tropical Plants

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – The Ministry of Agriculture build a nursery transplant named Kebun Bibit Cilangkap to support their Agro Edu Tourism (AEW) program. This nursery transplant has thousands species of plants especially from those tropical countries.

Located at Jalan Raya Cilangkap No. 45, East jakarta, the nursery house was situated on 19,5 hectare area. The nursery house was managed by Food, Marine and Agricultural Security Service or well known as KPKP.

"This place will be a great place to educate people and adapt with the newest technology and technique for agriculture. Let's introduce this place with tourism branding," Prihasto Setyanto, the General Director of Horticulture said.

Prihasto also bottom lined the use of natural products to eliminate the pest. There will be lots of plants such as rambutan, mango, longan, star fruit, avocado, durian, cantaloupe, and lots of beautiful plants for your decoration.

Up until now, the ministry of agriculture has had around 14 nursery house around the city. The Ministry of Agriculture were in progress of building 100 other nursery transplant around the country.

"Kebun Bibit Cilangkap has several picturesque spot for you such as lake, lemongrass house, hidophonic plants, and several other huge plants. This could be a perfect alternative place for your day off," Acting as Kadis KPKP Suhartini Eliawati said explaining about the nursery transplant. (*)
