KH Marzuki Mustamar, Man of the Year 2020 of East Java

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – A respected religious leader, KH Marzuki Mustamar was announced as Man of the Year 2020 of East Java by TIMES Indonesia Award. His dedication to the society all this time especially during the pandemic has made him worth the award.

This considerate guy who was born on September 22, 1966 is now serves as the Head of PWNU East Java. He is also appointed as the Leader of Tanfidziyah Pengurus Wilayah Nahdlatul Ulama (PWNU) East Java for 2018-2023.

He also owns an Islamic Boarding School named Pondok Pesantren Sabilul Rosyad, at Gasek, Malang, Eaast Java. All his achievement through this day was coming of hi humble behavior.

“He is a strict person yet so humble and friendly. All the words coming out of his mouth was just like a love poem which bring some peace,” The Manager in Charge of TIMES Indonesia Award 2020 Irfan Anshori said.

He is such a peacemaker that ready to bring peace to the world. Peaceful words always be uttered on every of his speech anytime anywhere. He was granted with Vision of Peace Awards by a US organization for his dedication.

During his life, he has written two books. They are Al-Muqtathafat li ahl al-Bidayat (2010) and Solusi Hukum Islam Bersama Kiai Marzuqi Mustamar (2016).

All these achievement has led KH Marzuki Mustamar to be the winner of Man of the Year 2020 of East Java of TIMES Indonesia Award. Congratulations!
