Aquascaping is Emerging as A Trendy Hobby Amid the Pandemic

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Aquascaping is becoming a trendy pastime amid this Coronavirus pandemic.

Aquascaping involves the arranging of aquatic plants, rocks, or driftwood in aesthetic way. It usually displays a replica of the nature.

“Amid this pandemic, aquascaping becomes a new pastime,” said the Leader of Baim Aquatic Community Muhammad Yitno Fariun.

According to him, aquascaping has become the favorite pastime of the society in Cirebon, such as the aquascaping community in Cengkaruk, Bodesari Village, Plumbon sub-district.

The theme of aquascaping can include diorama, waterfall, nature, and paludarium. Aquascaping usually resembles the replica of natural landscapes.  

Aquascaping aquarium will look more aesthetic and natural if it has ornamental fish and some lighting from LED lamps. (*)
