Get an Excellent Taste of Durian Simimang of Banjarnegara

TIMESINDONESIA, BANJARNEGARA – Durian lovers, Banjarnegara has some special type of durian which will make you mouthwatering. This durian is so called as Durian Simimang. Simimang has a thick flesh, with a yellowish color. It tastes sweet and has a small seed.

“Unlike any other durian, Simimang has a rough look with a blunt thorn,” The Head of Agriculture Department of Banjarnegara Totok Setya Winarna said, on Tuesday (1/12/2020).

Totok was meeting the member of Mimang Jaya Durian Farmer Community on that day. He was so proud to see new faces from the local youth joining the group. It shows that most of the local youth has realized their responsibility to bring the city to good.

“Thanks God that the youth has willing in joining the community. They have an ability to make use of the modern technology to deal with the marketing. That’s what we have been waiting for,” Totok added gartefully.

Mimang Jaya Durian Farmer community at Madukara, Banjarnegara is now working to bring Durian Simimang goes around the country. The world’s market is their next main target. Up until now, they are also working on to increase the quality of the durian.

Beside Durian Simimang, Mimang Jaya Durian Farmer Community of Banjarnegara also cultivate Simimang tree for those who willing to have it. T Up until now, they have had around 2000 tree to be distributed to the market. (*)
