Recipe: Mango Time with Mango Sago
TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Mango, no one will ever say no to this nice smelling and sweet fruit. But, have you ever tried to serve in in such fancy way? Like turning it into mango sago for instance? Well, if you haven’t, then we will try to guide you to make super this tasty refreshing drink of Hongkong. Let’s check it out.
2 rippen mango
200 ml coconut milk
8 tbs sago/tapioca pearl
Honey or sugar (optional)
Soak the tapioca pearl for at least an hour. Boil the coconut milk. Put the pearl into it and simmer fit for several minutes till it’s crystal clear.
In another bowl, dice one mango and put aside. And make your mango puree from the other mango left by adding some ice tube and a little bit of water.
To serve your mango sago, you could put the 2 tablespoons of sago into a cup, followed by diced mango and mango puree. Add some shaved ice on it and last but not least some honey on top of it. Yummm, and you are ready to face the hottest day on earth.
