TIMESINDONESIA, LAMONGAN – Lamongan has tried another approach to bring more visitors to their city. Lately they have built up lot of tourism village. They also pack the local farm into one interesting tourist destination, including this orange orchard agrotourism of Candisari.
Located at Cane, Candisari, Sambeng, Lamongan this orchard offres you an experience of getting the orange you want right from its tree. This place could be reached within 45 minutes from the city center and could be accessed with any kind of vehicle.
“This is the one and only orchard that has been turned into agrotourism in the city. I grew the trees for not more than 2 years and you can see the berries,” Zaenuri, the Manager of Cane Tourism Village said.
Meanwhile, the admission fee is very approachable. You could get into the orchard with only IDR 10 K. You could have all the orange you want. But, to bring it home, they will charge you more for IDR 10 K/kg.
Zaenuri also said that he has seen lots of visitors either from the town or neighborhood cities. “Some of them came from Mojokerto, Jombang and several other areas,” he added.
This place not only offers a pleasant experience of picking the orange from its tree, but you could also spend your time with fishing. Yes, this place a fish pool to challenge your patience.
If you feel hungry after walk around the orchard or waiting for the fish bite your bait, you could also go to the cafeteria. They have dozens of delicious food and drinks which will make your belly growl louder just by smelling the aroma.
