TIMESINDONESIA, BANYUMAS – Curug Menyawak or Menyawak waterfall at Banyumas, Central Java has attracted so much people to visit this place for its beauty regardless the steep and a bit challenging tracks it has a head. Lots of hikers have challenged themselves to go to this wonderful place with glory.
Located at Cibangkong, Pekuncen, Banyumas, central Java Curug Menyawak has two beautiful waterfall lines which separated from one another. Both located at the same area not far from another at 400 mdpl above the sea level.
This place has a natural beauty with a super natural track. You need to prepare your hiking gears such as comfy hiking shoes, trekking pole, and a bottle of mineral water since there will be no cafeteria or food shop on the top.
The hiking will takes time. You need to make sure you are in your very top of condition before you start to hike. But all the exhaustion will be washed away once you reach the waterfall.
The waterfalls have 30 meter and 20 meter height. It has crystal clear water so you could see the fish swimming around the river.
The most fascinating thing is that you could find a camping site to pitch your tent. At night, Curug Menyawak Banyumas Central Java will give the best night ambience with glimmering stars on the sky accompanied with the beautiful sound of the waterfall breaking the ground.(*)
