TIMESINDONESIA, YOGYAKARTA – To give the best experience of stay at their hotel, Innside by Melia Yogyakarta applied the new safety standard ot safeguard their clients and staffs during this unprecedented crisis. The even have applied this safety standard since January 2020.

Manage under Melia Hotel International Asia Pacific based in Shanghai China, Innside by Melia Yogyakarta has taken into account every safety standard that been instructed by the hotel’s headquarter.

“They order us to equip all of our staff with proper PPE such as mask, gloves and face shield as well hand sanitizer corners. And we have applied this safety standard since January 31 2020,” General Manager Innside by Melia Yogyakarta, Frieth Siahaan said.

Frieth also added that after the guest checked out, the room will be disinfect and sterilize for 24 hours being its being reoccupied.  They also have a touchless payment and menu through barcode scanning.

“Some of them couldn’t download barcode scanner app which make us have to give them manual menu,” Frieth added.

Frieth also asked for government’s support toward hospitality industry. The pandemic has make some visitors choose to cancel their trip. “It’s been increasing lately, but its lower in September,” General Manager Innside by Melia Yogyakarta, Frieth Siahaan ended. (*)
