TIMESINDONESIA, BANJARNEGARA – Historia Café of Surya Yudha Hotel Banjarnegara, Central Java understands the audience need of console. For this reason they bring back the local musician to go up on their stage to show their skill.
Before the pandemic, there has been dozens of local musician of any music genre performed at this café. Yet they have to stop the show for a moment for the pandemic issue. But now, as the new normal and new hygiene standard has been applied they have a will to bring back the old tradition in a new packaging.
As what we could see on their first show on Wednesday (16/9/2020). All the musician including the MC wear a mask and face shield. All the instruments arranged in distance with a new layout.
“This music was one of our ways to give more space to the local musician. During this pandemic we have a new layout and safety standard,” Endro Setiyoko, senior assistant manager entertainment of Historia Café said on Friday (18/9/2020).
On their first night of come back, Historia Café brings of Assik Bara and Art Bara with several of popular jazzy songs to pamper the audience. Juwita Malam, Ditinggal Pas Sayang-Sayange, Ninggal Tatu, and several other local songs wrapped in jazz are delivered.
“It’s such a positive way to spend your time during this unprecedented crisis. Doing your hobby as well sharpening your skill,” Andi Magma, The Director of Single Keyboard Association Banjarnegara, after perform at Historia Café of Surya Yudha Hotel. (*)
