Tenthirty Coffee & Eatery: Coziness Brought by the Vintage Concept

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Tenthirty Coffee & Eatery is a newly established café that is located on Jalan Puncak Borobudur G-504. This café adds to the list of cozy café in Malang, East Java.

You will see the inviting vintage concept presented by a Morris car from the 1970s that is named Ello.

“This yellow car really takes an essential part in this café establishment. I used to drive this car to pick up some stuff. Now, Ello can be used as a photo spot for the customers,” said Zul, the owner of Tenthirty.  

The vintage atmosphere will be stronger when you get indoor. You will be welcomed by the relaxing, mood-boosting jazz music.

“The vintage concept comes from my classic car collections and the vinyl record. I always like antiques. I like them since they are everlasting,” he stated.

In this café, the customers will find a variety of vinyl record and cassette tapes collections from various genres displayed on the wall. Antique cameras and piano decorate every corner of this café.

The most unique part presented by this café is Dingdong Pinball Machine that will bring back a sense of nostalgia to the 80s and 90s.

“We have a Dingdong Pinball Machine for our customers to play. For every customer who purchases the signature coffee for 4 persons will get a free coin to play this game,” he said.

The outdoor atmosphere of this café is more minimalist than the indoor. You can find a collection of old newspaper from the 80s and 90s framed on the wall.

The price of the beverages served in Tenthirty ranges from IDR 15,000 to IDR 20,000. The foods are also relatively affordable, starting from IDR 10,000 to IDR 35,000.

The vintage concept suits anyone from all walks of life. Having coffee and getting nostalgia at once is something rare nowadays. That’s why, Tenthirty is established for those who want to feel the nostalgia from the 80s to 90s.
