Serulingmas Zoo Gets a Fewer Visitors During Its Two Days of Reopening
TIMESINDONESIA, BANJARNEGARA – Serulingmas Zoo of Banjarnegara, Central Java has been reopened since Saturday (1/8/2020). Unfortunately, the visitors’ enthusiasm to visit this zoo during the pandemic are still low.
For your information, the zoo has been enclosed for more than 4 months for the pandemic. “I believe this zoo will bring some fresh air to the local community after being locked down for more than four months,” Agung Yusianto, the Head of Local Tourism Department of Banjarnegara said.
The zoo welcome around 800 visitors during its first day of reopening. The management implements a strict distancing rule and traffic management for the visitors, so the zoo won’t be so crowd with people.
“We are so grateful that we have had around 50% visitors visiting our zoo on the first day of its reopening,” Lulut Yekti Adi The Director of Serul ingmas Zoo said on Sunday (2/8/2020).
The visitors only need to pay around IDR 20 K to get in to Serulingmas Zoo, Banjarnegara, Central Java. For those lucky visitors, they would get a discount from the management if they happened to visit the zoon on 09.00-11.00 local western time. (*)
