Taste this Colorful Nasi Uduk of Dapur Jamilah Probolinggo

TIMESINDONESIA, PROBOLINGGO – Nasi Uduk is a West Java style of steaming rice with coconut milk. Normally, the rice will be plain in color. But Dapur Jamilah, Probolinggo, East Java took it to the next level by adding some color to it.

Located at Jalan Brigjen Katamso, Mayangan, Probolinggo, Dapur Jamilah bring out the color from peach and pandanus leave. “I tried to serve make Nasi Uduk that out of the box but doesn’t leave the deliciAous taste,” Indah Mustika, the owner of Dapur Jamilah said.

Indah serves the nasi uduk in beautiful way. Almost all colours combined in a plate. The pink color of nasi uduk, green of sambal and all the veggies, the yellowish color of the grated coconut blend into a plate that makes this dish serves in a fancy way.

Her idea brings a good fortune for her. She has received more order of her nasi uduk compared to when she just served them in a plain color.

“The color makes my mouth watering. The side dishes also perfect and completing the rice. It’s all perfect,” Neno Fatah, a local customer said on Wednesday (29/7/2020).
