TIMESINDONESIA, DEMAK – Muntilan, Central Java is well known with their stone carving. They have the best quality of stone nad has been well known by the Indonesian community. As well what Muhammad Kholil of Demak did. this guy has work on this field for more than 25 years.
Muhammad Kholil could be the one and only guy in Demak who takes stone carving as his main job. Most of the local will take farming or becoming a labour in the local factory.
“I started to do this business on 1994 till now,” Kholil said on Tuesday (14/7/2020).
He has gone so much through those years. He even had to stop the business for a while for he had no orders coming to his list.
Up until now, Kholil is still looking for someone or some company which would like to support him in developing his business.
Beside, the main material which is the stone was a little bit hard to find. For this time, he usually will carve some mortar and some other statues according to the customers’ orders.
He also put his stone carving products on his social media account for marketing. “I have been dealing with several issue, but I believe time will turn on me,” Muhammad Kholil of Demak, Central Java said. (*)
