TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Bontang Mangrove Park at Kutai National Park, East Kalimantan offers you all green scenery of Mangrove knotted each other tree. This place has been reopened for public on July, 6 2020 after being closed for several months during the pandemic.
This park will give you a mesmerizing mangrove forest all the way you turn your head to. This park equipped with a long wooden bridge that will take you to almost the end of the forest. The smell of the swamp mixed with the fresh air will make you like you are a prince or princess of the jungle.
“We have installed some equipment to fit in the new government sanitary standard and protocol for Cvid-19. That’s why we have already allowed to open this place,” Nur Patria, The Head of Bontang Mangrove Park said on Sunday (5/6/2020).
Beside all the standard protocol such as wearing mask, face shield and gloves, the management will also put some of their staff on several corner of the area to prevent the visitors create some crowd. Also, to appeal everyone to always put on their mask.
They will also limit the visitor’s capacity to only half of what they usually have or around 400 visitors in a day. “Its hard to always keeping the rule, but I hope people will willingly cooperated, it’s all for their own sake,” The Head of Bontang Mangrove Park, East Kalimantan, Patria added. (*)
