New Normal, Several Tourist Destinations in Demak will be Reopened Soon

TIMESINDONESIA, DEMAK – Several tourist destinations in Demak, Central Java has been closed for more than 2 months for Covid-19 outbreak. Yet the new normal hope to bring a good news to several tourist destinations.

The local community also feel taht new normal will give them a light for a better life. It because they only depend themselves from running tgier business such as opening a souvenir shop around the area.

"We are ready for the new normal. And we hope that this could help the local communit back on their feet," Selamet, an owner of souvenir shop at Makam Kadilangu, Demak, said on Saturday (30/5/2020). 

Still according to him, the tourist destinations in Demak hasn't been reopened yet since they wait for the government decree. There will be several protocol and Covid-19 standard that the management as well the souvenir shops need to fulfill before the place being reopened.

Those including providing sinks and hand sanitizer on every corner of the area for the visitor to wash their hand. There after the all prepared, the government will evaluate the tourist destinations in Demak, Centrak Java and decided whether or not the places should be opened. (*)
