TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTAYogurt contains millions of probiotic organisms that boost the good bacteria in your body. For this reason, it's good for you to add yogurt on your daily diet.

According to journal of food protection (Deeth dan Tamime, 1981) yogurt has more protein, calcium and even could help you produce more energy rather than fresh milk. It also contains more Vitamin B (B1, B2, B6).

Yogurt also high in vitamin D and calcium. These could have beneficial effects on bone mass in people of all ages. It means it could help you to prevent osteoporosis.

In another condition, consuming yogurt could also lower your risk to get a high blood pressure. According to Dutch researchers, taken from WebMD, on one of their study, people between age of 50 to 75 who consume yogurt has a lower risk to get high blood pressure.

Meanwhile, the Head of BBPP Batu, East Java Dr. Wasis Sarjono, S.Pt. M.Si., said that yogurt is a good source to boost your immune system.

It contains 109 cfu probiotics organism that help you boost your immune system.

“Any dairy product especially yogurt are a good source of your immune system. It contains more vitamin and nutrients that needs by your body," Sarjono said.(*)
