Keraton Kesepuhan and Gua Sunyaragi Cirebon Extending Their Closure

TIMESINDONESIA, CIREBON – The local management of Keraton Kesepuhan (Kasepuhan Palace) and Gua Sunyaragi (Sunyaragi Cave) Cirebon extends their closure of the tourist destinations until May 23rd 2020.

These top tourist destinations of Cirebon has formerly being closed temporarily for several days. "We planned to open it on May 24th 2020," the Sultan Sepuh XIV PRA Arief Natadiningrat said through Manager Director of Keraton Kesepuhan, Alexandra Wuryaningrat.

Still according to Alexandra, the long term pandemic has prevent them to operate the Keraton and the cave. The action was taken to make sure everyone's safety including the visitor themselves.

Before the palace and cave being closed, there has been almost zero visitor coming to this place. People are isolating themselves and follow the government instructions to do social distancing rule.

However, several tradition before Ramadhan will keep being held by the management in a quiet way. "We sent all the guides home, but the staff keep working to do several maintenance," Alexandra the Manager Director of Keraton Kesepuhan Cirebon added. (*)
