This Lady Produces Washable Face Mask After Being Sent Home by Her Factory

TIMESINDONESIA, BATU – Luci Irmayanti, a lovely lady of Jalan Mawar Hijau, Sukorembug, Sidomulyo, Batu makes use of her creative hand to produce a homemade washable face mask.

This was done due to her factory where he worked chooses to shut their company down due to lack order for the coronavirus virus issue and sent almost all their workers home.

"I was helping my friend to distribute her products of face mask. But since she couldn't fulfilled some order, I decided to help her and fulfilling the order and produce my own face mask," Lucy said.

She didn't expect to have such a positive welcome from the customers. The order keeps coming in, that in a day, she could made and sell around 100 pieces of face mask which been waited by the her customers.

She got the skill from her father. Her father is a competent tailor in his area. He taught her about choosing a good quality of fabric and and how to sew the fabric into a good quality of face mask.

In this case, Lucy uses vinyl and sponbound for the main fabric of her face mask. Plus, by using the fabric, the face mask are washable and could be used at least 3 times after being washed. From this business she could atleast survive the days of being sent home by her factory. (*)
