TIMESINDONESIA, BALI – The Silence Day that celebrated by the Hindus in Bali had just over. For this coronavirus issue, the local community even held the ogoh-ogoh parade a day before the Silence Day in the most modest way with a few people and less crowd.

Indeed, a day after the Silence Day which is today, Thursday (26/3/2020) no one spotted passing by on the street. Everyone stay at their home or in their hotel and do social distancing rule as what government ordered.

Several police officers and some Pecalang (type of local security officers of an administrative village in Bali) do a patrol on the street and appeal everyone to stay at home.

The local conventional market, such as the one in Badung, local food shop, gas station even stop their activities and closed their shop due to this coronavirus issue.

"We also order all government officials to work from home. We also order all shopping center to stop their activities temporarily," Dewa Rai, the PR of Denpasar city, Bali stated through his text. (*)
