Kampung Ramah Anak Batu, a Perfect Place to Bring Your Kids for Holiday

TIMESINDONESIA, BATU – Some of tourist destinations will ignore the need of kids who come to their place. But Kampung Ramah Anak (Kids Friendly Village) in Batu will turn it all down.

This place is very suitable for you and your family especially your kids to get some fun and pleasure. This place is equipped with playground, kids gallery, sports, and even a fish pool for them to learn about fishery.

"This is a wonderful place that thought about the kids happiness which need to be copied by another area in Indonesia," the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawanti SE MSi said on her visit to Kampung Ramah Anak Batu on Thursday (27/2/2020).

In addition, the minister deeply appreciated Kampung Ramah Anak and also emphasized that kids are not merely becomes the responsible of their parents, but also the government.

The village is located in a narrow alley, yet the local community give the kids all access to use it for playing such as traditional game, local martial art, practice their dance or playing the local music instrument (gamelan).

The chief of Punten Village Hening Trisunu, Batu even hope that Kampung Ramah Anak could be a role model for any other area. "I hope that this place could be a pioneer of a kids friendly place," she said. (*)
