The Impressive Replica of Brawijaya Temple at Trenggalek

TIMESINDONESIA, TRENGGALEK – Brawijaya Temple, which is nestled in Trenggalek, is a replica of the temple built in 1969 under the reign of Soetran, who served as the regent of Trenggalek.

This building was built to celebrate the 24 years of Indonesian Independence. This building is well maintained as Trenggalek is improving its tourism sector.

This iconic building is located in Jalan Soekarno-Hatta, Ngantru, Trenggalek. The philosophy behind the construction of this building is to stimulate the sense of historical civilization, referring to Majapahit Kingdom.

Although this temple is not a heritage of a kingdom, its impressive and luxurious existence may attract visitors. The visitors can see the splendor of the glimmering lights at night.

 “This place is a perfect and aesthetic spot to take a selfie,” Riska, one of the visitors, told TIMES Indonesia.

The visitors can enjoy themselves in the gazebos provided in this place. There are many shops and restaurant around Brawijaya temple that sell various foods, starting from traditional foods to modern foods. (*)
